Will I be able to get a good laptop for £350? Thats $574. I want the best one I can get for the money I have.

I'll be using it for a number of things;

*Playing all types of media
*Using a lot of Adobe software and other programs
*Maybe MMORPG gaming - depends on what I can find for my budget, i dont expect to be able to play games like cod4 or anything on it, but any info on what the gfx card/laptop can play is appreciated

So, can anyone help me out?

Well, for laptops, even though I'm a Mac user. I'm a strong believer in Dell for Windows based computers. I don't like running windows on HP or any other brand really. If you follow this LINK it will take you to the one I found fairly quick. It seems decent enough for what you explained.

Do you think id be better off just upgrading my current desktop? My desktop can pretty much do all of the tasks I want me laptop to do, except for run good games/run quickly and smoothly.

It's specs are;

Celeron(R) CPU 2.66GHz
Intel(R)
2.67GHz, 448MB of RAM
Windows XP SP3

VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP - This is my gfx card, I think. I dont know much about them at all.

This is cheaper than my current laptop, but has oodles more power.

Basic specs if you don't feel like clicking the link:
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 QL-65(2.10GHz)
IGP: ATI Radeon HD 3200
RAM: 4GB DDR2
HDD: 320GB

For US $450, I think that's decently priced.
