Hidden layers show in test movie?

Im working on an animation; doing in-betweens for someone else- anyway, the problem is that lately when I test the movie (CTRL+Enter) it also shows the hidden layers frames.

I couldnt find a way to fix this so I decided to reset all Flash (CS4) settings to defaults but I cant even find how to do that; and Ive been looking too...

so

1. How do I set it so that it wont show hidden layers when I test/preview the movie

2. How do I reset Flash preferences to the defaults

I'd appreciate any answers, thank you very much.

First press ctrl+shift+F12.
Now uncheck the box that says export hidden layers

2. How do I reset Flash preferences to the defaults

First press ctrl+shift+F12
There should be a little icon button at the top that you can import your own profile, select that and choose the default one

Ah ok, I see it...

For the benefit of anyone else that sees this thread let me also mention that the checkbox is in the "Flash" tab under SWF Settings. "Include hidden layers" should be unchecked.

I personally think that it's stupid to hide layers in order to not get them exported. I just use guide layers instead, since they are never exported, no matter what the settings are.
