Considering it can only be used in private matches, I don't see the harm of it being there.

Looks surprisingly sexy, I thought it'll look shitty like the 3rd person view in Fallout 3.

It looks like the video is in slow motion, like the guy set his video capture program to higher framerate then what he set it to when he exported it to whatever format he used.
Still, it looks decent, though there's nothing exciting going on here. Just looks like watching people in 3rd person perspective while spectating in the first game.

May I be the first to say, however, that that level itself looks totally badass. :D
