Really bad and way too small to see whats going on , but nothing there really , 1-2 mins animation at the most , take your time and make it look real , use you stage up and dont be lazy with the upper body , the upper body really excentuates the twists and bobs of walking, make proper joints and legs , keep the proportions right and dont meld it all into 1 brush stroke
look at this

It's a good start, you just have a few things to tweak. First, you need more up and down movement. The character barely leaves the ground, but animation is about exaggeration so try to push it even more. Second, since he has no shoulders the entire body would need to rotate slightly with each step. Normally shoulders rotate, but your guy has none. I'd suggest perhaps trying with a character with arms and a torso. It sounds harder, but you'll learn a lot more.
Keep at it!
It's very basic, but that's to be expected for your first proper walk cycle.
The legs need to lift more off the ground - or the leg, considering your looping. On that note, the loop needs to be smoother on the legs and the movement of the body seems a bit jumping.

did you make that?
anyway...
I think it isn't that bad actually, just more emphasis on the movement. More up and down motion, etc. Maybe add more frames to make it less choppy, but for a start, not bad. Basically, just keep practicing.
good luck :]

No, that's from the animator's survival kit
This is a modified version of Richard William's walk cycle for you, adapted for a shorter rounder character.

Seriously PBass, you get my vote for most awesome helpful person on these boards. Nice! I was going to try to alter the original character as well, but man, I don't think it would even compare to yours there. :)

Haha, thanks but I think some of the AS guys do a lot more than me. I just refer people to sources or repeat things that were written by others. And don't sell yourself short, you can animate anything you set your mind to as long as you have the passion to go through the process. It's a skill that can be learned if given the proper time and care to blossom!

Too subtle. When I made my first running cycle there was as lot of standing up and if-there-was-a-video-of-this-I-would-loo k-insanely-stupid testing of how the character actually moves. Considering your character has a huge ass, the only real problems are that it's too short and that you need to show the legs bending a little more.
I like to animate stuff on my first run, then go over what looks rushed and add a keyframe in between.
If I offer to help you in a post, PM me to get it. I often forget to revisit threads.
