first offence life(parole depends on judge and evendnce etc)
secound life no parole or death
there is no third time becuse no one really makes it that far

Basically this is forever. The guy was pretty old. He'll die in prison, just like he deserves.

Well, lets say, you break into a house and kill someone. The dog is barking so you decide to kill it too. It manages to bite you, drawing blood. Now, considering he just killed someone out of sheer greed, lust and so on, he would of probably felt angered at being bitten and had more determination to murder the dog. I mean, he was bleeding all over the house for christs sake, he probably worked out that he was likely going to be caught anyway at this point so why not kill the animal that just bit him?

The dog legged it and we rescued it from the local dog haven a few days later after it was caught wandering the streets.

That sucks man, but the fucker got life with a minimum of 26 years before parole, at least. Hopefully one of his prison-inmates shank him or some shit.

What he actually deserves is a life sentence. A death penalty would be too quick, a life sentence is an incredibly slow, painful and lonely way to die.

What you do is you marry the said person, get a restraining order after he gets a little too violent a few times and then be busy in the process of setting up the divorce, even if the person doesn't accept divorcing you which extends it by quite a bit.

I feel for you man, it wasnt easy when i was told my mom had drowned, i think its easier when your older but still terrible , also terrible that they only gave him 26 years, should have been life , minimum .

What he did is nothing new. Obsessive personalities have been around for a long time. Studied thoroughly too.

What needs to be done is something with the justice system. So that someone like this never gets this chance. I don't know. There really would be little to prevent something like this from happening.

Right you are, man. I think someone mentioned how she called the police multiple times before she died, and nothing was done. Shit needs to be done about law enforcement, and the justice system like you said. Probably something to add to a restraining order too, like a sort of collar on your foot, that shocks you when you get close to the person with the order.

Shit, hope that fucker gets what's coming to him in jail.

After reading that, you should actually feel a little better. He got LIFE with a minimum of 26 years before parole. So, techincally, 26 years could turn into 40, 50, 60, 70, or forever.

And the judge was right, this was planned out and blatant.
