Are pennies valuable to you?

Usually people just throw the pennies away and leave it alone for it to collect dust. Are you the type of person that does that?

Or do you actually use it?

I'm more of yes and no, sometimes when I buy from a store they usually give me a few pennies so I just say "Keep the change" because pennies can accumulate in your pocket and I don't really feel like sorting it out.

Though, best way to get rid of pennies is to give it to children, they won't know a difference either way. They'll think of it as a toy.

I keep my pennies in a bowl in my room and hold on to them until the bowl starts over flowing. Then I head tot he bank and exchange it for paper and less coins. Or I just donate them to charity.

I don't know why but I've taken to leaving them places. Not just around my house but I will purposely drop a penny, nickle or dime on the side walk or something for some one else to find. It always brightens my day to find even a few cents laying around so why not spread the joy? I know a lot of them just get kicked aside but I know at least a few make it into some ones pocket.

sometimes I'll make a game of it and see how far I can roll a coin down the street.

I have a big jar in my bedroom filled with pennies. I won't stop on the street to pick up a stray penny, but I won't abandon ones that I receive with my change.

I've heard that it costs the government 2 cents to create one penny, so they should really start rounding all prices to the tenth, just to save money.

I'd have to say I do save up pennies and all of my change. It's just that I have a habit of keeping all of my change and making sure it all goes in the little cups and boxes I have, so I can turn it into paper money. So yeah, I do think pennies are valuable.
