Mold? On MY walls?

Small black dots are starting to appear and multiply in the corner of my room.

How does one solve this problem?

Seriously, water and a hot cloth is a good solution. BTW, if you have mold on your walls you should open a window atleast once every 3 years.

Any cleaner that has some bleach in it would work. Just let it soak for a while and wipe it off.

I don't know, but whether it is or not doesn't matter.

Mold is mold, and mold is disgusting.

Try eating some cheese and then looking back into the container and see that there's mold. That was definitely not a pleasant moment in my life.

People can die if enough mold shows up in their house and it's not just a problem that's always easy to wash away. You could actually have mold within the walls that's spread over the years. I don't know how old your house is, but my old one that my parents rented was allready over forty and the landlords had let some walls in the basement really go to hell. The mold in the basement bathroom was such an issue that we had to keep the door closed shut closed at all times and we couldn't hire anyone to get it out SAFELY at the time. We've actually been advised to sue.

Bleach kills mold.

Spray or wipe some over the affected area and wipe clean after a few minutes. if the mold comes back, there may be some sort of leak behind the drywall which would need to be fixed.
