Christmas Video Game List 2009

So Newgrounds, now that we are into November it's not all that long until Christmas (53 days to go). Everyone knows that Father Christmas needs to allow some time for all his little elves to make us some presents, so lets give him an early warning.

There are a few simple rules that I ask you to follow:
1. You are allowed no more than 5 games on the list.
2. You should give a reason as to why you want each game.
3. Games on you list must be released before December 25th, 2009.

It will be interesting to see how some people's lists will change, for whatever reason, as we get closer to Christmas.

So, what games to you have on your list for Christmas this year Newgrounds?

1. Modern Warfare 2

This game might be removed from my list, as I will most likely buy it before Christmas. Reasons for wanting this game should be obvious. Multiplayer game of the year springs to mind.

2. Left 4 Dead 2

I saw my friend playing the PC demo and it just looked awesome. A lot better than I was expecting after people saying it should only be an explosion or add-on.

3. Borderlands

I missed out on this game and it does look pretty sweet despite my early criticisms of the art work.

4. Episodes From Liberty City

I've never been one for downloading and kind of DLC. I much prefer to have a hard copy, so I've been missing out on these 2 expansions. They both look awesome.

5. Fallout 3 GOTYE

I loved Fallout 3 but again I never bought any of the DLC. I thought it better to wait until the GOTYE comes out, so I can just get them all at the same time, but I never got around to buying it, so now it is on my Christmas list.

Not sure how much my list will change on the run up to Christmas, but I might get some games early allowing for a few slots to be changed.

Borderlands, maybe. It looked cool before they made it cell-shaded. Now I'm not so sure, but PC Gamer makes it look really interesting.

Well MW2 isn't going to be on my list because I intend to get before Christmas.

1. Borderlands- It looks interesting and I would have bought it already had MW2 not been right around the corner.
2. Left 4 Dead 2- I wanna kill more zombies.
3. Assassin's Creed 2- I wanna assassinate more guards.
4. Ballad of Gay Tony- Just for the parachutes
5. Mass Effect-I never played it but I would like to before the second one releases.

I probably will only get 1 of those games though.

I second this list, and would like to add New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The game looks fun, and it is nice that Nintendo has gone back to its 2D platforming roots

1) Forza Motosport 3
Overall fun replay just like the second, awesome graphics and pretty much spend a lot of time doing races. Trading cars. Completing with friends and tournaments.
2) Borderlands
I missed this game because I am saving up money for COD:MW 2. This game I heard is really long and addicting. Since I love FPS and RPG games I am going hopefully to buy it.
3)Dragon Age: Origins
Like I said I love RPG's
4)Left 4 dead 2
I did not buy the first one, hopefully I would buy the second. This game looks really fun and I like killing and owning the shit out of zombies.
5) Tekken 6 OR Assassin's Creed 2
Tekken 6 cause I am hardcore fan of it, but Street Fighter IV still owns all upset SF: Turbo. But maybe not cause I heard Tekken 6 online play sucks as SF:IV.
Assassin's Creed 2 cause the storyline was quite interesting and want to find out wants next.

COD: Modern warfare 2 I pre-ordered, so yea, no more wait.
GTA :Episodes of Liberty City (If I have a extra $40 bucks)

Seems a lot of people agree with The Saboteur looking awesome but at the same time looking bad.

I loved the first and the second one adds awesome new features.

5. LittleBigPlanet [PSP]

I tried it on the PS3 and loved it so the PSP version should be good for someone like me without a PS3. (Rhyming is always fun, if you picked that up)

I will more than likely pick up a couple of these games before Christmas but not all of them.

God of War Collection

I've never played the God of War games before now, but the more I follow GOW III the more I wish I had. With the first two coming out on PS3 in one convenient collection, this is the perfect time to catch up. Also, $40!

Metroid Prime Trilogy

Been out for a while, but since I've only played through the first half on Metroid Prime 1, this should be a great purchase. Boy am I glad I never splurgedon a copy of the third one!

Batman: Arkham Asylum

It's Batman, what else to I have to say? It just looks awesome.

F Zero GX

Ooh, an oldie but a goody. I'm far from short on GameCube games, but I can't help it. I've wanted this for a while actually, but it would make a great Christmas gift.

A PS2 Slim

Is that cheating? Eh, maybe. The point is, I have a bunch of PS2 games I can't play because my old PS2 Phat has a screwy controller port.

So, that would be my dream list at this point if you can only choose five games.
