I would say most of the things you said, if you hadn't already said them just now. Some people can get buzzed off of cigs, or hookah. But then you get addicted, and form a habit. I dont smoke cigs, but weed is amazing.

Its not cool to smoke. It helps people though in ways that make you safe. I actually have smoked a cigarette instead of breaking someone's nose before. When I see a shitbag, and I don't have a smoke, hes the next best thing to 'smoke'. Some people smoke the prevent domestic violence, emotional outbursts, staying awake longer, working under stress, and many other uses. Its not a joke that people have smoked for centuries, but it is a joke that people forget why so easily.

I'm actually pretty secretive about my bad smoking habit, I don't like to be caught by others because the way the world is today most people "Like You" try to bag us out and state the obvious that OMG its CANCoRZ!!

I started in the first place because of peer pressure and got hooked about 6 months after wards. I've tried to quit a few times but really couldn't give a fuck and have an "I'll do it later" attitude.

Maybe you forgot the reason why you smoked, but it probably began when you we're trying to be cool or fit in. "It eases me" is a lousy excuse; how could you know that it's relaxing when you never tried?

If you ask a random smoker why he does it, he'll probably come up with lousy excuses like you guys, but when you want the real answer, people just smoke because they do.
