I have a facebook but I don't use it at all.
The reason I made it was to watch someones videos.

It didn't work though, for some reason >:C

Get a laptop and don't let them see it.
also, that only happens if you have strict as shit parents.
My mum doesn't care what Ipost because she doesn't check it.
If I'm on it and she comes in when Imlooking at a friend who she doesn't know's picture she'll only say
"Oh, who's that?"
My whole family basically have Facebook though.
Even my 62 year old dad!
and they don't care if I post something that says 'Fuck' or 'Shit' or something like that.
Just tell them to back off or something.

My parents don't care. Or even look at it.

I have to watch my back on Facebook now that my mom's on it too. Like, not post a satus update that I deliberately missed a class thism morning and slept in until noon.

Also, I have my boyfriend as a friend, but we haven't marked it up. I don't think my mom would min, nor reallly anyone in my friends list, but I just want to keep it on the down low for the moment.

I already know not to do stupid things.

i have found facebook and myspace to be quiet boring anyway. I am 36 yrs and dont really like these sites

My parents are on my friends list. You must have done something for them to not trust you.

Here's a little tip for people with family on facebook... Don't post pictures of yourself half naked! if your under the age of 18, you really shouldn't be acting like a big enough whore to have your parents mad at you. Just respect their wishes and believe me, life will go a lot easier for you.

Sounds like most of you guys are too young to be on the internet anyway. 13 year olds don't need a facebook, cell phone, or anything like that. At your age you should be going outside, or out with friends to the movies.

It disgusts me how lazy and spoiled this new generation is. Kids now don't know what life is like without a computer. I doubt any of you guys have ever picked up an encyclopedia to do research for school or read a newspaper.

The internet is a great tool for many things, but kids now days RELY on it for EVERYTHING. I would love to take today's children and remove all electronics from them. I doubt they'd survive.

I already knew that Facebook sucks, but thanks for the reminder.

AND - I have a FaceBook. It's just a great way to catch up, make friend, date (yeah, I use this as a verb) jam sessions and concerts, upload pictures (of social events only - just jam sessions, concerts, and rehearsals, for me at least) and have a laugh now and then if someone uploads stupid pictures. It's a nice, cheap, and efficient way to communicate with friends. Don't take it too heavily! If you had something REALLY important for to say to someone, you'd go and meet him in person.

Or you could just not add them as a friend on facebook. Same thing with me too my mom and my sister kept bitching about the " Stupid" things I say on facebook so I just deleted them as a friend.

And I'd like to be truthful about this: If it wasn't for the internet bringing millions of people on, I'd still be another social outcast unless I followed all of these "Kanye West" fans who wear tracksuit bottoms, walking around with their hands down their pants.

Apart from all that, I would like to go out there and get lost in the middle of who ever the fuck knows just for fun. While I do use the internet in the vast majority of my time, if my city had a countryside larger than a small block of houses, then I'd probably get out and experience what it's like sleeping in some place where you're not sheltered as much as in your house, feeling the nice breeze of fresh air... and all that shit, I've rambled enough! :3

Luckily no one on this site has a cleavage to show off.

Ha! My school forced all of us to get one. So I'm f-ed on that one. Good thing is I never check it and my friends are the only one's who post my real pictures. I never put anything in it, I bet it's rotting in cyberspace from all the spam.

Post the pictures so we can analyze the problem, rest assured we only require these pictures for the cause of research, so we may further help you out with your problem.

My mum, nan and most my family wants me to get Facebook. It won't end well.. i'm sure.
