I never really liked the point of Facebook, still don't have one.

My mom doesn't know what facebook is, let alone how a computer works. Same goes for the rest of my immediate family.

I made one to keep in contact with my friends, who now live like 30 miles away.

So fuck you.

I only have a Twitter and a Myspace. I really don't give a fuck who super poked, nor do I wish to play some half baked game.

My parents can see the computer screen while im on FaceBook so they dont see the pointless things i say (though they wouldn't care if they did)

Make your profile private

My parents respect my privacy..

I can honestly say i've used all three; Twitter, Myspace, and Facebook. I can understand and actually tolerate Myspace, but the other two just doesn't make sense to me. Facebook is basically just the 'Status and Mood' portion of Myspace and only that. You can't even browse through the users like you can on Myspace, it gives you suggestions and mostly points out others in your region but that's about it. As far as Twitter...i'm not even going to go there.

Or, instead of simply deciding not to use Facebook, you could learn how to use it properly: Tweak the privacy settings so that only your friends can see your photos, and then block your parents if they send you friend requests. How could they possibly know what's on your Facebook page if you didn't voluntarily (or inadvertently) allow them to see it?

My father searched for my name on Facebook about two months ago. He found two other users with the name, and he was questioning me on whether I had made them. As I told him I did not, he began stating that they should be reported for identity theft and whatnot. He thought it was very serious.

And that is why I didn't use my real name on Facebook.

I had to get off Facebook... too addicting and a waste of time. I'm glad I'm off it now. All I hear from my friends that are right into it and don't do it right is bitching about what other people say on Facebook.

People who do it for a bit of fun, spend maybe half an hour to an hour a day and don't take what people say there seriously do it right and I have no problem with that.

I'd rather spend my time to waste playing video games than looking and commenting on photos which I, quite honestly, do not give a fucking sperm ball about.
