Who they are do you say yes? i get asked this a lot because i meet a lot of people and forget them. Usually they are friends of my mom's. So when i'm asked if i remember a person i usually give an honest no..because i don't want to be caught as a liar later. I don't really see why people who haven't seen me in over 2 years expect me to remember them anyways but whatever... If someone asks if you remember them do you say yes or no?

I tell the truth. If I don't, then I say I don't; if I do, then I say I do. Simple as that.

Swallow your sugar pills, inject your saline, breath in some hydroxide mist and have a nice day.

I had to deal with a lot of that shit on Saturday. I went to a wedding of one of my mom's friends (who is also one of my friends.) And my mom used to dance with a lot of the people at the wedding, so I was getting pulled around a lot, being asked, "Do you remember them?" Well of course I don't remember them. I was 5 or 6 at the time. I couldn't remember a decent shit then if I tried.

Not in real life, but on the Internet this happens a lot. I speak to lots of people casually (through websites and irc) and sometimes someone will be all "hey citric! Do you remember me?" and I'm always like "oh shit!". I generally just say "uh, I think so, are you that guy from ..." and use some ridiculously general place so if I'm right they elaborate themselves, if I'm wrong (which is never) then I don't do anything because it's never happened.

I'll also be sneaky and google their username, but shhh.

I'm honest in real life but lie over the internet, though I'm usually the one forgotten by people.

I tell the truth. I usually remember a face or name, but almost never both. When people find out I remembered at least something about them, more so when I met them a long time ago, they're happy enough.

I remember everyone I meet. There's always something insignificant that I recall because it made me laugh or smile or made me do something really dumb that made me remember the reaction, or I remember how they talk to me or what they look like.

But sometimes I lie and say I don't because "no" is the first word to escape my mouth. It's an accidental "no" that can be replaced with "Ah, now I remember" later on when they start explaining that one special moment we problem spent together a year ago.

Yeah it's pretty cool, except that if I greeted everyone I recognized I'd get weird looks all day long, so I just ignore them.

There's this girl called Annie who tells me last week that she has a cold. I say "Again?" and she doesn't understand why I say that. I then tell her she had a cold in the beginning of this term, which she did not remember, and I even tell her how she told me.

I wouldn't, this would mean you would know all people in the whole world who existed exist and will exist and your mind would be utterly filled with them making you incapable of learning anything else.

What a pity..

I'm good with people's names so I would probably actually remember them yes, but if I didn't I would ask them politely who they were to refresh my memory.

I said no when this happened a few weeks ago, apparently someone was in my 2nd grade class 8 years ago and asked if I remembered them.
Of course I didn't, and it was kind of awkward. They were all disappointed.
And they remembered stuff about me from 2nd grade that I didn't almost, it was really weird.

If I just forget their name I usually just ask them what their name is and try to remember where we met.

If I forgot everything about that person then I'm usually like "Uhh, I forgot can you refresh my memory?" or something like that.

I always forget most of the people I've never bothered to get to know, which makes it awkward later on when they walk up to me talking about stuff that happened years ago that I forgot.

I always say I do if it's an adult, because I don't want to be bothered about it later by my parents.

That would be so amazing, just walk around and hope you over hear someones name, if you do wait a bit then do that. "Hey <name>, not seen you for ages!" and laugh at the ensuing awkwardness. This is clearly a TV program in the making.
