I'm a resident of the UK and I can honestly say that I've never heard of them. I love doughnuts, but I don't get them very often. I'm going to keep my eye open for these things, since everyone here who has tried them, seems to love them.

they're still around in the US...intereesting since all the ones I knew of are gone take a look right here

Mmmm... I love Krispy Kreme. Around here they have windows in their kitchen so you can watch the doughnut get created from start to finish. I don't know how you guys live without them.
