What % of threads get the lock ?

Mods sometimes don't even lock topics that which should be locked, they leave it alone and let it die on their own.

I meant 30, I forgot the zero, huge difference i know ect. but you think it's more than half? at that time I took a look at the topics on the first page, not looking at the other pages/forums or coutning ones that get deleted. none of them were locked (yet) but assuming it was still early in the day I figured the rest of the day would see the usual amount of crap. So I tried to take a guess while trying to keep in mind a lot of people like to over exaggerate.

I didn't really think about it at first, but right now as of 7:41pm there is only one locked topic of 40 on the front page. [ Thats it Mint! by iCock] and between that and page 5 there are 19 locked topics (cutting off at [I Got a New Tattoo! (pics) by PhysX]) out of 175 topics. So I'd say so far 30% is pretty close.

No, not necessarily.

Most of the deleted threads are Spam Threads, crappy Photoshop threads, ones that break the rules, and ones that will easily get flamed, as the majority of the user-base despises it.

Open topics have the ability to stay on or go back to the front page, but locked ones don't. Therefore, more locked topics are likely to be found on lower (higher? You get my point) pages.

When the Pooz is online, the percentage jumps up to about 97 pecent. Oh crap here he comes with the banhammer. But to be totally honest, he's my favorite mod, being the only one that seriously does things.

Yes I counted those, between the one I mentioned to the last topic with a reply dated 11/1/09 there were 19 locked. With 40 topics to a page and taking up almost 5 pages it was a total of 175 topics made today (at that point 7:41pm). I suck at doing Math, which is worse than a sin to mention on newgrounds. So I'm trying to avoid giving an official number. :x
