Too soon for christmas?

I've seen loads of christmas stuff in ads and all around here already. We just had Halloween so it's rly early. Do u think christmas is too early this year?

I think it is coming extremely close but it is almost 49 days away (and 10 days after that it will be 39)

It's like that every year - christmas lights are up before Halloween has started. I think it's most likely just an advertising scheme: the adverts and shops get the public excited about another holiday that is nearing and they use this to their benefits and milk it for all its worth - this would pretty much get the public to spend more of their money in a smaller amount of time.

I work at a grocery store, we have all of our Christmas candy and stuff up right now.

Winter, especially the Christmas holidays, is the best time of the year. Everyone just seems so happy, and the house just seems so different when it's all decorated. The smell of the tree in the living room and the christmas scents all over the house, just make the world seem like such a nice place.

meh, some stores around me start advertising for Christmas in like July, it's a way to get ready early and beat the rush on Black Friday

Christmas is the ultimate marketing time of the year. Everybody buys tons of presents for everybody. This is a lot of money for businesses. Businesses will start advertising Christmas the instant they get the chance, that is, once Halloween is out of the way. Now the only holiday profitable for them is Christmas (Thanksgiving is not very profitable because it's a day of eating a lot of food, not buying items) so now they will advertise whatever they can to get you to buy, buy, buy.
