Its a hell of a lot funnier to set up traps with the weak/loud fireworks that are pressure sensative or setup tripwires for confetti ones. Simple camoflauge is a good tactic too. Make sure to point and laugh when the parents who are in the driveway swear at you.

Also, I doubt youve ever really done this, but if someone calls the cops, it's probably illegal and they can say you were attempting to endanger the life of their dear sweet child, so good luck in court when the prosecutor recalls the part where you jump out of the bushes, shirtless and covered in your own shit and start pretending to do that maniacal laugh because you wanted to be "that one guy who's just a little off", or whatever.

i stopped trick or treating a while ago i feel i'm to old, but it is fun. i always went a few neighborhoods over to the big huge five story houses and stuffed myself so full of candy i think i almost got diabetes

I should have been more clear, I read what you quoted and was confused myself, I meant "talk to people who aren't there".
There was a kid in my high school who did this, and was really annoying because when the teacher called roll for the first time and asked if people had a nickname they wanted to go by, he made sure the teacher called him "Twitch" for the whole year - and this was senior year, when you would have expected people to have stopped thinking that shit was "cool".
