Doesn't sound too bad. It's just a bigger DS for those with bigger hands, that's all. You don't have to buy it if you already got the original DSi, there won't be much of a difference.

It's the same console. It's just a bit bigger.
You don't need to buy it, it's just an extra incentive for those who have not yet bought a DSi.

This doesn't seem like that bad of an idea. I like how it will have a bigger screen etc and a bigger, easier to hold stylus so that will make it better. The only bad thing about it I can think of is the name. "DSi XL" it's just a bit more difficult to say fast. It would be easier if it was just called "DSiL" or "DSiX" would sound cooler.

They should never have made the DSi in the first place. If they are going to spend time and money upgrading and reissuing a console, they might as well have made a new one.

It's for older people, and comes with additional DSiWare, like a dictionary and a maths game.
I still want though, my original one is looking worse for the weather.

Usually Japanese people don't like bigger and bulkier things so the sales will be interesting. The DS is a beast in sales so if anything can over come a shitty redesign, it's the DS.
