Shrooms

I've been tempted to try shrooms, but I don't know all the temporary and permanent side effects from it. I've only smoked pot before, so I'm obviously hesitant. If anyone can give personal experiences or links to medical journals and such (I've already read wikipedia, so don't bother with that), that would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Honestly man, it's nothing like being high. You have good self control and shit, like it's not like your rolling around on the ground freaking out and shit. You basically hallucinate. For me it wasn't so much like I was seeing shit that wasn't there, but trees for example looked like they were monsters and shit. I've only done shrooms twice, and my first trip sucked ass, but my second trip was pretty fucking crazy. If you do end up taking them, make sure you get good shrooms, (Blue caps, gold caps) and not some lame shit that won't even fuck you up.

Next time i do shrooms, me and some firends a picking up a quarter each, and just chilling in someones house.
Surroundings are a really important part of your trip, so you'l want to find a good place to do them, were you wont be disturbed.

Shrooms are the way to go if you've never tripped before.

You're not really going to see things that aren't there, there aren't going to be crazy hallucinations popping out or anything.

Basically, it's going to affect the way your eyes perceive light, and it's going to affect which parts of your brain interpret your senses. You'll be hearing colors, seeing sounds, that sort of thing. No big green fairies, none of that.

Basically, it makes it feel like you're in outer space. Just make sure you trip with someone; it's more fun.

Also, remember the trip depends on mood, so if the trip starts going bad, self control will save you. It's all in your head; enjoy it.

If you're willing to experience something completely out of the ordinary then give it a shot, I have and I've gotten a decent affect from it.

Really changed my perspective on a few subjects, just was a great time overall.

But NEVER do any drugs that are made chemically, they're all horrible and evil.

Heroin, Cocaine (although naturally constantly modified,) crack, meth, ecstasy - ALL BAD DRUGS

Marijuana, Shrooms, Salvia - Acceptable, shrooms and salvia need to still be in acceptable dosages. There is no sense in going over the edge with anything.

I wouldn't recommend any hallucinogen. They may seen like at fun idea at first, but it always comes down on you. I Don't recommend any drugs on that matter, but I'm known to still smoke a little weed around the right people!

As much as I support drugs and think that people should be able to do whatever they want this is not true. There are many harmful plants that can even be fatal if ingested.

Oh, and he says the trip took a few days to fully wear off, and it feels like a really good weed buzz. He says he had lucid dreams for a week after.

Have someone stay sober when you do it, and dont just stay inside. Go to the woods or the park, or anywhere. It's amazing.
