favorite sandbox game
Mine would be . . . Hands Down . . . Garry's Mod. With the hundreds of tools and thousands of addons. BUUUUT i can never play it because i got a new computer AND IT IS A PIECE OF SH*T!!! i'm surprised it can even run FLASH GAMES!!!!
but anyway . . . what's yours?

nothing beats gary's mod with sandbox modes so don't even ask

How is AC2 a sandbox game? I think it goes hands down to gmod, but technically it isn't a game. It's a mod. So I have no idea. I enjoyed Scribblenauts a lot though.

Crackdown, soon to be Crackdown 2.
It doesn't really compare to other sandbox games in quality, polish or story but it was just simple fun. When you jumped up and leaped onto those tall buildings you really felt like you were high up. I just had a blast with it and the free Keys to the City DLC was a major bonus.

Oblivion and Fallout 3 are very good. I don't really think I could ever stop playing them. I have logged hundreds upon hundreds of hours into both.

Didn't expect someone else to mention this game. It's so fun in a weird way. It's like 3D lego with extras.
Though I think Garry's Mod beats it even though you can easily build your own levels in Minecraft.

Even with a horribly limited pirated version, it is enough to make me buy it immediately once I am able to.
