Hello there! I just wanted to make a thread asking what is with the idea that high school years are some of the worst in your life? I have been a freshman for a whole quarter now and I like it. Not to brag or crap like that, but I'm doing well in all my classes, I'm second-string (the JV team is wicked good >:() on the football team, and I'm currently in two clubs.

Now I ask you Newgrounds, why does the world think high school sucks?

All I remember from High School was that I was akward, and the class clown at the same time. I hated locker room time as well. And I pretty much flunked my GCSE's... but some how I passed Uni with a 2:1

THE BEST years are school years, I mean, there's almost no responsibility on you!
You can do what you want (aside from some homework) and don't have to worry about any bills, loans etc.

Well I'm not sure what your high school is like, but mine has boring classes, teachers who resent all the students, pissy seniors, leaky ceilings on the second floor, lockers that lock every time you close them, an offensive mascot (crusader--known for invading the Middle East and killing basically anybody in the way), and failing academic policies.

High school is an amazing time! Senior year was amazing, it doesn't matter who your friends with, everybody gets along. If you have enough guts to go out and party, show your face in high school! You'll never see those people again..

What are you guys 10? EVERYBODY has sex, and EVERYBODY smokes pot and drinks. It's just something that you do in highschool. Like tonight for example. I drove over my friend's house, smoked a few bowls, watched Jason X and thought it was the best movie ever, drove back home a little high, and now I'm back on NG. Just a typical friday. And then tomorrow I'll go out again and drink because it's halloween. Like, it's not something that you sit back and think about. That's what the health teachers want you to do. Don't. Just go out and have fun. It's not like you'll have those kinda opportunities when you're 35 and you have a wife and three snot-nosed brats running around.

Just wait. You'll see why. Personally, I hate the drama. And the assholes who get nothing done, will "borrow" your notes/ask for help ("Can you do this problem for me?"), and yet still receive A's on their assignments. Worse yet are the people doing said people's homework/projects.

Also, I am a senior, and I gotta say, I loved high school at first. Until I realized how shitty the people are.

ok firstly ya talking to us like we never went to highschool, thanks for your 17 year old wisdom, secondly, I never said I didnt get Smashed and laid in highschool, thirdly none of what you said you did is impressive to me in any way, shape, or form, and to post that on a site full of 14 year olds, using it to talk down to two people who are decently older than you about something youre not even done with yet, and how cool you are because umm....you smoke pot and watch jason at some dudes house?
