What kind of shitty people are you meeting?

I have a small group of close knit friends I would say. About 5 or 6. I prefer it this way, I don't understand how people live with being friends with everyone, I imagine it's tiring.

The kids at my school are scum. I don't even bother talking to them.
If there's a kid with a disability, they'd just laugh in their face. They don't care and they don't try to hide that face either.

It's like, every child between the ages of 12 and 18 are pure evil.
Why aren't I like that?!

You could also find friends that don't act like morons.

That worked for me.

OH YEAH I FUCKING HATE those people. Anyone who does anything just to get noticed needs to be set on fucking fire and pushed into traffic. I had almost the exact same problem at school, except with me it wasn't because of them bitching about one particular person; they were always talking about people behind their backs and making value judgments about them... I didn't like it and like you, I too didn't have any friends for a year... In my last year of school though, I got along pretty well with some of the new kids; we even went out on road trips together, it was awesome.

I agree 100% with your philosophy, it teaches you how to be independent and not caring about what people think. Also, I find that you tend to become like the people around you if you give it enough time; so if you surround yourself with nasty personalities, you will probably become nasty yourself... If on the other hand you surround yourself with respectable people, then you will become respectable too.

You're in high school, correct? Keep in mind that once you graduate, the whole world changes. Life isn't like high school, it's a lot better.

It seems to me (just by reading over your post, I don't know you or anything and I might be wrong) that you seem to categorize people based off first impressions, and don't ever let it go. I don't mean any offense by that and I might be completely wrong, but it's just a thought. You keep calling this girl "a learning disabled girl". How the hell does that make any difference? Some of my best friends have autism, and I truly honestly don't see how something like that should affect a friendship at all. Or you say that this group acts like assholes. That doesn't mean that you should immediately shun them. Sure, if they are total douchebags then you shouldn't be their friend if you don't like them, but at least give 'em a chance. The world focuses on too much on first impressions in my opinion. Your appearance, the things you say, everybody judges everybody before they get a chance to know them. It's stupid. But that might just be human nature. Also, I'm sure there's people at your school or whatever that aren't total douchebags and immature. My one friend is one of the nicest people I've ever met in my life, and he's only 17. So, it's just like, I dunno, let people walk through the door and have a snack with you before you shut the door on their face.

I dont have any friends because im not a friendly person

i am the oldest in my class and that makes me feel overly mature compared with others, i am a silent person that keeps to themselves (mostly because i hate my voice due to my speech impediment ) and i have been doing this for the past 8 years,

in fact i tried just last week to sit at a empty seat but this was not possible because others just wanted to sit there (and the only other seat open was near a weird kid in my class)
people just dont seem to like depressing simple non talkative people like that and i couldn't care less

Me, I purposefully severed any ties with people. I hate just about everyone in my school, with the exception of maybe 5 people. Even then, I don't consider them friends. I've been hurt by others so much that I've decided I'd rather feel the pains of loneliness than the pains that people give me.

Probably the closest thing I have to an emo moment.

I have to agree with this. Minus the iPod bit, throw in a Sansa Fuze. My only problem is when I try to get some alone time, I always get a group of idiots following me and taking the piss out of me - and if I retaliate by using music to ignore them? Oh, they pull them out. If I walk off, they start playing tug of fucking war with my bag, if I'm trying to practise any kind of instrument, I always get them putting their fingers on a fret of the bass/guitar I'm playing, or banging drums and handling cymbals - when I'm playing it, and complaining about it when I hit a crash. Which stems off to cutting off my practice entirely, because when they come into the only area I can practise, I am the person who gets the blame for it. Now, take this single group, and then I go out... only to deal with more fucktards, only less persistent.

Hah, I have 2 good friends at school, when I want to talk with them, we talk, when I want to be left alone, I can be alone, they're very understandable.
But my best friend is my mind, it can give me anything.

I have few true friends. However, I have many many acquaintances, people I like, and people I like to poke fun with.

But mostpeople seem to like me, to an extent.

I'm relatively friendless. Outside of my few guy/girl friends, that's about it.

I get on with other people, but I don't hang out with them.

The vast majority of my year (150 or so out of 250) are chavs. I'm friend with maybe 20-30 or so of the remaining hundred, and the rest I'm perfectly fine with and I'll get along with.

Even if you prefer being a loner, I'd still suggest you do your best to make friends. You don't always know how beneficial it would be to have friends close at hand.
