I had to go to one in school. Biggest waste of time ever. I mean theres floats made by each of the classes ( Freshmen, Sophmore, etc.) And then Theres gymnastic team, band and all this other pointless nonsense. Seriously It was so damn boring. Have you ever been to one?I swear I wanted to kill myself just watching all this crap.

All school pep rallies are complete shit. Luckily for me, though, I have the option to go chill out in the lunch room.

It's meant to increase the self esteem of the school as a whole. Oh, and the teachers basically get a free day off.

It doesn't seem to work for you.

Holy shit, gymnastics? Do you mean cheerleaders?
at our pep rallys, we buy a copy of the other teams mascot, and we have a student dress up as it, and in the middle of the school song, our mascot fights their mascot. (Both are students at our school.) Then our principal joins in.

Beats your lame-ass pep rallys.

Atleast yours was probably better than hours. Ours was just the cheerleading squad and about thirty minutes of them talking about each athletic team.

Personal Motto: I am awesome and that's putting it modestly

We don't get pep rally's. The closest thing is some twenty minute shit that happens during lunch in the lunchroom, which is entirely skippable.

Oh, and we get served free lunch. I got bacon and eggs.

A "pepperrally", as you call them, is a big school event where everyone throws pepper into the gym and people try to ride unicycles on it.

When my school has Pep rally's, the speakers are kind of messed up so when music plays, your ears WILL bleed.

Well the last one we had was actually interesting because the Drama group at my school did Thriller.
And the DJ that plays the music at the Pep rally Stays and plays music during lunch.

We have mandatory pep-rallys whenever the staff damn well feels like it. Half of them guard the doors too so that no-one tries to sneak out. The band plays the same song four times and the dance/cheerleaders do the flip thing then everyone goes down on the gym floor and yells loudly when told to.
Good times.

Actually I went to a pep rally a while ago for school spirit week. Since I was in the band, I was told to play, and the pep rally was actually pretty funner than I thought it would be.

R.I.P Kitty Krew ;_; and also cock joke.

It's for the sports teams to get all pumped up for their big games that day. Ours corresponded to homecoming.

... but, as soon as I had my license and car I'd just skip them and go home.

For some reason I am reminded of a cartoon called Pepper Alice. Does that sound familiar to anyone? I have no idea.
