aww dude i got a story for u man i lent my phone to one of my friends for a like 3-5 days cant remember and she texts so fucking much that when i got the phone back in the inbox and sent place there wasnt one of my messeges she texted over like five hundred fucking times i have no problem with texting but when u only text just to talk and say stupid stuff then thats dumb and thats what all of those messeges were

I saw a kid get kicked out of a class permanently for texting. Wasted like $400 on that class!

Thank god im finished school now, however whne i was in school, i hated when people would text in class, especially to other people that were at school at the time like their boyfriend/girlfriend with stupid daft messages like "Miss you XX". I mean seriously what is THAT important that you cannot wait 2 hours AT MOST to talk to them.

Having said that, I did text people, but only when I was in a Private study class, and i knew others were too in Private Study, and would be bored and wanted to chat. But not on the scale of OMG ITS BEEN FIVE MINUTES! SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE TEXTED ME! HUH? NOBODY DID? WELL I BETTER TEXT SOME PEOPLE!

YES. Whenever someone in any of my classes gets their phone/ipod/whatever taken away they always are like "OMGWTFIWASNTEVENTEXTING". Even though it's clear they were. What's really neat is my school has a policy to where if you're caught with it 3x throughout the year it's taken until the end of the year.

I get email on my phone so its never stops vibrating usually.

Which is fine because it just means ill wait until break or lunch to answer anything that needs answering

I have an old phone that doesn't have a colour display, a $50 credit plan that usually lasts me about a year, and i don't spend every waking moment texting people with idiotic messages. Because of this most people will look at me like some sort of retard.

Lol! My school doesn't even allow anyone to text. In fact if you just take out your cell phone it will be confiscated so you would probably love my school!

Suprisingly it's never the person next to me who does it, even though in other lessons the same person will do it.

I only text in class if I need to talk to someone immediately, or if someone else texts me. And even then, I have to wait 10 minutes to respond cuz I si next to the teacher in like all my classes

I used to do it every once in awhile, now I don't do it becuase of the chance of getting the receiver in trouble. I don't really find it annoying when others do it, unless they interrupt me to do it, and as long as I don't get in trouble, I'll willingly give answers.

Only a few girls at my school do it, but almost everyone leaves their phone on. So one time in English a guy's phone went off and our teacher confiscated it. He then went into the hall and called one of the other guys in our class to get him to whip out his phone. As soon as he saw it, he came in and took it too.

Only in study hall classes would I do that, and definitely not that frequently. If it's an actual class, it's just stupid. Pay the fuck attention and put your damn phone away. No one is going to text you in school.

On the rare occasion that I get a text during school (like once a week) I'll respond, but I don't have conversations with kids during class. I left that behind with freshman year.
