What is the goriest game you have ever played?
For me it is Postal.

I remember playing Turok 2 back in the 90's - the gore blew my mind.

I'm glad you asked, anonymous internet user. The answer is quite simple ;

You can cut dudes in half with it.

Like, completely separate their torso from their lower body in a fountain of blood. Sometimes, they would break down and soil themselves just a split second before you half them.

You could also stay suspended in mid air for a few seconds with it if you powered up a certain attack, for some reason.

Technically Manhunt 2 on the PC was the goriest game ever released. When you unpack a few hidden files, and tweak shit here and there, you can lift the layer of censorship they spread over some of the gore.

If something is so gory, it gets an AO rating, the retail kiss of death, then it has to be worse than M games like Dead Space.

Afro Samurai allows you to OHKO minor mooks with focus in a pretty gory fashion. You can kick them to death and they will still bleed 40 gallons or so.

You can do that in MadWorld with a regular chainsaw, double chainsaw, katana, dual daggers, or your bare hands.

Then you can curb-stomp the head of the still-living torso. Or, in the case of some mini-bosses, you can cut off their head and jam it on another guy's head.

I think Fallout 3 could pull of this title, espically when you blew people to piecies. Parts of skulls, entrails, hearts, etc. Sure not a lot of true blood splatter but you gotta admit its a gory game.

Yeah, I say Shadow of Rome. Throwing severed arms at people was fun. You could also put a man clean in half with a giant halberd that took a full two seconds to swing.

For it's time, Mark of kri was pretty wonderful in terms of gore. I mean i think it was the first game that ever let me pin dudes to the wall by impaling them with my sword.

I remember that game. It was fun while t lasted. That was until the game crashed after i beat that german guy in the arena. Anyway, yeah i think Postal. Nothing like a good Sala Bin Ladin BBQ with "Golden Shower"
