Probably because the connotations of a gun represent security, authority, power, intimidation... stuff like that, which is an appealing thing for most people.

Because everyone else hasn't shot a real gun, and think the ones that you must be higher to achieve are better. In reality, sure a .50 Cal bullet can go through bullet proof glass, but the Mauser Karabiner98k packed a punch for its time.

I totally agree with you. It's probably because of video games, people discuss a lot about guns, like "I pwned a n00b in CS yesterday with an AK-47, that gun is so cool." Mentally normal people probably like guns because of their function in video games, or maybe they go hunting, I don't know.
What happens when Louis gets his pills? Or maybe when Bill gets his pills? What happens after they all grab their pills?

I disagree. If there wern't killers in the world then everyone could own a gun and have them as a hobby. I think they are fun to shoot targets with, and they only kill because of the person behind the trigger.
