My open letter to fanboys

Will you fuckers STOP FIGHTING!? I'm getting sick of people saying that their console of choice is better then someone else's console of choice.

Seriously. In a flame war between fanboys one person says "OMG xbawks kiks azz pee ess tree sux bawls" (Whoever can understand what the last sentence said gets a cookie) or "OMG pee es tree kiks azz xbawks sux bawls" (Want a cookie? Decipher the last sentence!), it's really annoying for people to be bashing a system they never used in favor of their console of choice.

I own an Xbox 360 Core with a 20GB hard drive equipped with a Network Adapter, and a bunch of games. I also have a 60GB PS3 fat with a few games, and a Nintendo Wii.

The point I'm trying to make: The console wars is bullshit and stupider then the format wars. There are too many fanboys arguing over their favorite console in bad grammar, too many reasons to hate systems because they all have flaws. And most importantly: We are fighting over pieces of metal and plastic! WHAT THE FUCK IS TO WHOLE POINT OF THAT?!?!

Stop fighting over gaming systems. It's dumber then the format wars, which was already retarded to begin with.

By creating this thread, your only going to fuel what it is your ranting against. But you should of figured that...just let people be that way and they miss out on games on the platforms they don't play. Myself play every system + pc, and I'm satisfied cause I get the best from all worlds

The amount of fanboy fighting that occurs here is substantially lower than on other game forums. Gametrailers, IGN, and 1Up are significantly worse with the fanboyism and a lot of the 'fighting' here is really inside jokes or light jabbing between people who already know that arguing about which console is better is pointless. Those who are legit fanboys are mostly rooted out early and they learn to either shut up about it or leave. This rant might be applicable on another website, but here it just doesn't apply.
