Rule 36 states that it is a fetish for at least someone, no exceptions. If you really want to know what you true fetish, all you really have to do is just go around everyday life, or watch movies or stuff and look closer to find out what turns you on. I doubt it'll be that hard.

I've seen lots of reasons given for the development of certain fetishes online. Some are strictly scientific, others... not so much. Since I'm not really very knowledgable on the scientific, the biological psychology front, I'm more inclined to agree with the other sorts of reasons... and also, it often seems like the scientific "evidence" for the development of certain fetishes is really flimsy and presumptuous. Hell, one of my "interests" is one of the first points in one of the categories, and I definitely agree with what that editor has said. The Internet has, for better or worse, widened the possibilities of this sort of thing, as other users have pointed out already.

And of course, you can just develop fetishes by going out and experiencing life. A routine makes it more concrete, since certain images will be drilled into your mind. I'll leave that one there.

Oh yeah, that's definitely true. I should've added that onto my last post actually. Having a special thing though, I think, can make you feel like you're a member of some special club... and I use the word "special" to intentionally bring up multiple meanings.
