Who needs a fort if you can be mobile with this one?

Mine would be a farm with a wine press and lots of seeds and maybe a paddock with some cattle as well. It is surrounded by 12 feet high and 12 feet deep security glass/plastic walls and a floor 2 feet thick, tinted on the outside so the zombies couldn't see in but I can see out.

It be big enough keep my whole family sustained indefinitely and like the humans before us I would take us further away from extinction with rampant incest.

Mine's a take on 300, a wall made from mortar and dead zombies. If the zombies want to get me, they must consume and eat away at the flesh of their brethren. Of course, inside the thirty foot tall wall is a solid concrete and titanium bunker with an emergency radio and unlimited bottled water and Ramen noodles.

me, i would build a giant 7 foot wall made of solid marble going all the way around my yard, then i would fortify the windows on the first floor with boards and planks and then turn my little base into a outpost for other survivors.

hmm, A main house, and a few outer houses, mostly like 2 bedroom houses, for people to live in. And a big fence around all of it, then a couple feet away from the fence, guard posts every half mile around the perimiter, Then about a mile away from all of that, a large wall, filled with water, like, a huge concreate wall with water in the middle, the water will be suspended in a mixture of saw dust, and sand, and it will be wet kind of like mud. in the middle of the wall, then around this wall every mile a guard tower inside the wall.

Really if there was a zombie invasion i wouldn't stay in some fort. Id get my best gun and go out in some style.
