Has anyone noticed that my recent threads are music related? Huh.
Which drummer supreme? The beater that's the best? The guy who's so awesome, There is no other that could possibly match him?
For me, it's Neil Peart from Rush. Yeah. There's drum playing, and then there is Neil fucking Peart.

Peart and Portnoy are good because of their insane ability to cover such big sets, but I'm going to say Keith Moon, he could bring on a great sound with a small set.

while i do enjoy neil peart i honestly know there's soooooo many people that jump on that bandwagon. it would have to be john bonham, he could go in and out of tempo so easily. ( this also supports my theory that all the musicians or people in general that are getting to good die, look at mozart for example that man was a god of music and he died prematurely.)

I'm surprised no one mentions Buddy Rich. That guy could drum. Also there are others outside Moon, Peart, Bonham, and Portnoy.
You can't forget others like Tomas Haake, Danny Carey, Terry Bozzio, and Thomas Pridgen.
There's just too many to name that are so good that it's not even worth trying to say who's best.

Neil Peart really isn't that good at all, he just has a big ass set.
I think it's probably Jason Costa of All That Remains or Michael "Moose" Thomas from Bullet for my Valentine. A runner up is probably Brann Dailor of Mastodon.
