Good.

Every once in a while France does something right, and this is one of those times.

Of course the they're saying that it's persicution! Which it may be... I mean I'm not a big fan of the whole Scientolgy scam/cult. But as far as hair brain religions go, is it really all that bad. I mean even with the whole spirits of alian race, and humanity being direct discendance of clams or whatever.

But than agian look at all the other world religions and ask yourself, aren't they just as insane? I mean let's imagine that the scientology infestructure where to collapse, they're religion still spans across continents. There will probably still be fringe groups who believe in dianetics or Xenu or whatever.

Scientology as a religion? I won't deny it. I have my own crazy beliefs delivered by what I understand as a revelation of supernatural origin, so I can understand people having their own beliefs, or even L. Ron Hubbard having his own such revelation. But it seems the French have figured out that the Scientology organization is doing some things it shouldn't. Religion is fine (those wars can happen as much because of politics or because of ethnicity as because of religion), fraud and extortion aren't.

Scientology may be a religion, but it's not smart to believe in it. It's just like believing in christianity, both are just fake.

I wouldn't get your hopes up guys. This being Scientology there's bound to be an appeal, then several police misconduct complaints, followed by a hefty compensation package.

...and with that post, people of Britain were so surprised that "tea was spilled, crumpets were dropped and monocles everywhere popped out in shock."

This much is true. That's how it always is . . .

Then again it's France, they dont make as big a deal as America does. We'll see what happens
