Anyone who actually read the whole thing, properly, would realise there is a good artistic message behind it.. just that it's conveyed in a very extreme way, which happens to be excactly what he wants. It's a good idea, and I respect he would go to jail not only for his art, but for the sake of art having a meaning. He claims that most of any art in this world makes no difference to anything, but he wants people to be changed after experiencing his art, and wants to change art into more of an experience. Good on him, rape me up, big boy.

I read the whole thing, and I just think he's a crazy guy that wants an excuse to be well known for something.

He started off with punching people in the face. He just wants to be controversial so people know his name.

I mean, one of two things is going on here- a) The guy is fucking crazy about artistic expression to the point where he will actually go to great lengths to prove his point, in which case, the whole article is true, or b) He's a genius and he's pulling a huge joke on people, and anyone willing to enter will find out that it's a big hoax, and the guy is doing it for a laugh.

I was laughing the entire time I read it. There are so many what-if scenarios. I kind of want to drive to Columbus and see if this is a legit story. I've heard about this and the controversy around it and I'm sure that the dude is serious and not just whoring for attention. He comes across as the savant type that pushes the envelope. He knows that fucked up shit is going to happen, there is going to be litigation, lives may possibly be ruined or lost altogether (including his own) and that is exactly what he's striving for. Lasting effects of art instead of the fact that if he and his colleagues drew another picture the world would be no different if they had not.

Not that his logic is sane or his moral unquestionable. It most definitely is. But I think that is also his point.

What I want to see happen is the first person to emerge prostrate from his tunnel to be a violent ex-convict, aids infested, massive individual that has a penchant for raping lil white dudes. Now that would be art...
