The solution to this 'poor man's dilemma' ist to tell his brother to grow a pair and start looking for another person. The majority of people are just sad and depraved and feel their first love is their only. Thats why our country has such a high divorce rate, because idiots think they are in love, get married and then fail. If it doesn't work, if there are far too many problems

Its mostly you'll have to go with option two my friend. Like people have said, even if your a genius you can never actually "force" somebody to like another. You can try to influence them, but that's a far as it goes. Its like with hypnotism. According to what they say you can only be hypnotised to a great extent if you allow it to. So you gotta tell your brother the harsh reality. If you wanna cheer him up, that bad get him a stripper lol. He's your younger brother I'm assuming so you got to make him learn the ropes of life, if he's your older brother, well... just tell him to man up like countless of other men have.

My ex girlfriend got me to love her. She wanted to see me all the time, she always talked to me, and she'd buy me stuff. I was kind of iffy at first but she really tugged at my heart strings and eventually she got me to melt for her. It's really hard to describe how to do it, but it's something like that. Not being clingy or obsessive, but being outgoing and hanging out a lot and such.
