well, the stones on the floor are more defined and the shadow from the bridge is better, and i dont even own a gaming computer. all in all, i dont think this is much to get excited about...

Wow. If you had a high enough spec computer for it to make a difference, maybe it could be useful. For general gaming, it probably won't be a big deal what version of DirectX you use.

Yeah well it looks pretty impressive on the right the Details seem to like maybe stand out more in the games and well I don't know if my mind's playing game with me but I sort of notice that the geometry infront the grass area is nothing like a block but more of a solid for ... Exactly. You would have to have a really fucking good computer to get the difference, and even then I probably wouldn't notice. Its not the graphics that matter anyway, its the gameplay. Fuck DirectX 11.

I would say the DX10 walkway is more realistic. The DX11 version has like 6 inch dips in between each stone.

But its that it's actually displaying actual depth that matters, rather than trying to get textures to look like they have dips, you can make them proper
