Hit Start. Hit Run. Type "telnet." If you get an error message, read the next paragraph. If not, type "open towel.blinkenlights.nl" and sit back and enjoy.
If you can an error message, go to Control Panel. Go to Programs and then Programs and Features. Hit Turn Windows Features On and Off. Then scroll until you find Telnet Client. Check the box, and hit okay. Then do the first step again.

I have it open on my linux box, so far, it is cool for a telnet based animation... which I have never seen myself so thanks.
