Excuse me? Perhaps you are unaware that I am in graduate school at Penn State persuing a degree in Chemistry. Perhaps you are also unaware that the greatest scientists the world has ever seen (Einstein, Newton, etc...) all believed in God. Perhaps you are also unaware that the parting of the Red Sea, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins, etc... are all proof. You need to cease your blasphemy or you will only succeed in dragging others down to eternal suffering with you. I'm completely serious, people like you need to be incarcerated.

The only real God in existance is the only REAL God in existance. The fact that He is real and judges whether you spend eternity in paradise or unimaginable suffering is His. The Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ tell us we must have faith in Him.

As for his position on whether there is an impersonal god somewhere out there, he made references to 'god' as the force that drives the universe, but not as an omnipotent divine being that sees when you've been naughty or nice. He asserted that he was not an atheist, this does not however automatically mean that his definition of god was anything like what yours might be.

Also, despite speaking fondly of Christianity at certain points, a year before his death he wrote:

Hell, I live in Texas and we still say EVERY single part no matter what the government says we still hold to our ways and say it regardless. No body sits down and no body just doesn't say it. We have respect for the people who defend this country in our wars and we respect that all of people who died defending it. I realize that these freedoms we so thoroughly enjoy everyday shouldn't be taken for granted. And that there ARE rights that are god given that no man under any circumstance has the right to fully take away. Rights such as life and liberty. Those are things that they can take away but that does not mean they have the right. It is not a right to take away life. Even when it happens it is still and will never be anyone but god's sole right to do so. Now I could attempt to argue about things such as religion and god and elucidate the darkness for so many of you ignorant fools who attempt to show right in your false bearings. But doing so where a man can not meet face to face holds no fruit for either side. This is my full hearted opinion. You can take it, you can rip it apart like most atheists do and attempt to judge my intellect on a single post but one thing you can't do is take it away. even if it is long and deleted the opinion it once held within it still stands within me. That is another god given right. The right to an opinion. They can torture you they can kill you but they can't make you change it and that's all there is to it. Good day.

well yeah that is waht i was talking about. Not the bible itself but the rights absolutely.

The Bible written by man as much as the Bill of Rights, so those rights are still given by man in the end. If you want to look at it religiously, then yes, the rights are "god-given," but not everybody believes the Bible to be a holy scripture.

Also, commenting on other people, not you, why in the hell do people use events in the Bible as proof that the Bible is true? What the basically means is:

"This book is true. Look at this passage right here! See, it happened in the book, which means it happened in reality, and if it happened in reality it happened in the book, so the rest of the book must be true!"

Circular reasoning, it's stupid. I'm in no ways a person that hates religion; though I'm personally an Atheist, I've seen religion better a lot of people, but it's just that too many people are taking a negative influence from their religion.
