But if Nintendo owns the scenario for the original, and Eurocom may or may not be handling the remake, then Rare is nowhere to be found in this equation. As such, THERE ARE NO LEGAL ISSUES SO FAR.

Rare doesn't own the premise to the James Bond franchise, so there are should be no legal issues if someone else develops it. The legal issues were stemming from the fact that Rare developed the original game, so the N64 version will most likely never get onto the VC, unless Rare ceases to be owned by Microsoft.

It was called Quantum of Solace, but the gameplay covered both movies.

if it's coming out for the Wii, then why are they using a Project 64 image? you can clearly see that it was taken from the Project 64 emulator because the sky is black which is a common error with Project 64...

I think a remake of Goldeneye is unnecessary. I mean, we all loved the game, myself included, but remaking it seems pretty pointless. Unless they somehow totally redo the multiplayer, then it'll just be like having the game for the N64 all over again. I still own my working N64, so I can just play it on that, I don't need to spend money to get it on a Wii. Plus, I think Wii FPS games are never really that good.

This will be awesome, too bad rare isn't making it, it won't have that 'classic' feel, more of a redone than a remake. If you know what I mean.

They did!? Name this game at once. So I can tell you that it was not a success in response.

It was going to come to xbox 360 until some dispute with rare. It would have been great though with the better graphics and achievements
