I'm having a go at an indie game development blog and I was just looking what people thought of it.

Just a few thoughts:

Have someone read over your work before publishing. I love reading articles but some basic grammatical issues can really toss around the integrity of the article.

Remove the voting system. It doesn't seem necessary to have voting in a blog unless there is need for users to cast votes. Voting on an article about game design seems sort of odd.

Add syndication methods. There's some good tools out there so that people can easily subscribe to your blogs. Technorati, Digg, Mixx, and other all-in-one plugins really help your blog stay in the spotlight of readers.

Enjoy! Good luck.

Hi there!

Nice one! Few things:

Generally it looks good but the header is the first thing you see and it doesnt look great, or match the rest of the blog.

No Rss feed? Its a good way to get people to remember the site and come back, you should always have one on a site like this.

But yeah, nice idea for a site! You should get some authors to do interviews and guest articles, plenty of content is important!

Will do.

Got rid of it.

Going to add this tomorrow.

Enjoy! Good luck.

Any suggestion, I really suck at graphic design.

Added it.

I'll start doing this. So far I have 1 guest article lined up and a friend who's going to do a series of game reviews.

Thanks for the feedback.
