Don't get me wrong, I like their music, but I'm not a die-hard fan

But:

Bono is an asshole of epic proportions.
The Edge is an asshole, look at his name for fucks sake.
Their real fans tend to be absolute assholes who think Bono is some kind of God figure.
Each member of the band is worth £100's of millions but yet are al tax exiles from Ireland.

BUT PLEASE, don't get me completely wrong, some of their music is good! I enjoy some of it! I just don't enjoy the elements of U2.
