Maybe the only reason you didnt like it was because scary movies aren't your type.
I didnt see this movie and i dont plan on it because of all the bad reviews but who knows, ill end up seeing it in the future.

this movie was a big joke. So much talking and build up for nothing. The last 20 minutes are actually "entertaining". This movie was a huge let down.

This movie fucking blew. It wasn't scary, relied heavily on "jump" parts, and had the dumbest storyline ever.

I read reviews saying it's the most original horror movie in some time. Fuck that. It's Blair Witch, taped in a nice home, with the witch replaced with being possessed / the Exorcist. Some of the scenes looked like straight out of the Exorcist.

I should've known though. Any preview that shows you the audience rather than the movie itself is bound to suck.

2/10, and that's being generous.

That movie is exactly alike that of the Blair Witch Project. A bunch of jumpy scenes that result in... nothing.

Waste of money.

I thought it was okay. Yes him telling you that she gets dragged out of the bed will definitely ruin the shock for you but hey if you have $10 why not go see it.

Because it sucked?

I didn't read that prior to seeing it and the movie still blew. Spend $10 on food, gas, or something worthwhile.

I heard about this movie, I heard a few friends watch it because they were talking to me while they were watching it on their computer. It didn't really sound like something that would make them jump, and one of them said it was really stupid...and from what she told me it sure sounded like it.

Maybe if it were REAL paranormal activity made into a movie somehow It'd be pretty cool, I don't know. I don't like what I'm hearing about this movie however.

For ads that show audience reactions, they hire actors or pay people to exaggerat. How do you think they know where to point the cameras in the theater. I know for a fact thy do that because for the Paranormal Activity TV ad, for the audience reactions part, the guy in the hoodie is my brother. He was paid $200 to pretend to be overly scared.

Saw it tonight, and I have to say it didn't scare me at all. I kept waiting and waiting for something truly creepy to happen, and every time it seemed like something good might occur, the night scene would end and I'd have to sit through another 10 minutes of that annoying couple arguing or whining. At least the girl had big tits and awesome cleavage that was shown whenever possible during the movie. Otherwise, only maybe the last 10 - 15 minutes were frightening. I seriously laughed more during this movie due to the snarky comments from Micah, and the ridiculously over-frightened and obnoxious audience members around me who wouldn't shut the fuck up during the entire movie.

Bleh.

SPOILERS:

I hated this movie.

I thought it was boring and lacked all sort of logic.
Why was the boyfriend so insistent of not calling the demonologist, even to the point of being aggressive?

Why didn't the girl get the Ouija board out of their house ASAP? I mean... she could had tossed it out. Instead, she left it in the house...

Why did the boyfriend act it was some sort of game?

Why does the girlfriend carry the camera at all if she HATES it?
Why don't they throw away the camera if they're being chased?

Why does the demon wait? Why does it do stupid tiny things like... toss keys and stuff if it's obviously strong enough to posses the girl.

Etc...

The characters were very poorly motivated, and although I overlook this in many movies... I couldn't do it for this. It was suppose to mimic reality by using the camcorder look-- but still... it lacks logic.

Blair Witch was a better movie of the same calibre...

Although, kudos on the special effects. Some of them were truley frightening like the baby powder scene.

Devils Food Cake, Morning Has Broken, The Glory Hole, Assimilate or Die.

Forgiveness aint easy. It don't count if it is.
