You got way more than all the help you needed. The first reply to the thread had everything you asked for - a pseudocode instead of the real code so you could "understand" it on your own. You even got very long in-depth explanations by ThePeasant and some other people. How could you be asking for anything more just to make a ball bounce?

if (collides) then (reverse velocity and if less than 1, = 0)

And that's why this thread's being locked. Not only for what you mentioned but also because a lot of other people don't seem to know how to show restraint when it comes to dealing with someone who's acting difficult or doesn't understand the responses. If they don't want the kind of help you're offering or you can't explain it in a way they can't understand then don't respond back with insults, or even at all. The people in this thread who posted help and tips and didn't resort to insulting the OP, keep up the good work. To those who did end up insulting the OP, that's not how to handle someone asking a question, no matter how they respond.

And to the OP, if what is being suggested isn't working or you don't understand it, come up with a better way to ask for clarification because you were coming off with an attitude that is not going to get you very far with help threads.
