Just thought I'd make a thread, a lot of people have gotten away with it, but as the SAS say, who dares wins!

PARATONE is now up, my record label. It might not look like much, but its currently in stage one.

If it picks up, will be signing other artists; all done professionally of course!

Seems to be some random black text talking about Hear No Evil at the very top of the page. Also, I think you should have got some headers for the page's windows, and a navigation bar or something before you put up the site.

Yeah it's very simplistic, still. I agree with that, though he did say it's only in stage one right now.

Yeah definitely, it's just drafting and stuff. Everything works though, I'm just going for something thats quick and easy rather than having a site with a billion buttons and fourteen flash animations dancing about the page.

How does one make a label, anyway?

Well everything has a starting point. I just wanted a way to get my music out rather than cutting the profit with a label 50/50 every time i had a download, or buy or whatever.

I've got a lot of friends who do Print work, shirts, banners, cd's and that kind thing. I've got a few guy's in masting studios who cut me big deals on stuff as well, so i'm definitely using those to my advantage!

At Rig,

Theres nothing secret about it, at the end of the day labels are businesses just like your local butchers or supermarket. A lot of money has been put unto the site though, as simple as it may be, it's just waiting to see whether it takes off or not is the main aim.
