He was probably referring to the rumour that caffeine stunts your growth, which, last time I checked, was false.

Doesn't it leach calcium from your bones? I know it's shitty for your teeth. If that's the case then I'm pretty sure it can cause early onset osteoporosis, but you'd have to pretty much have no calcium in your diet and drink copious amounts of cola.

I drank Coca Cola (non of that diet bullshit either) a lot in my childhood and I'm now 6,1 which is a little above average I think.
