One free NES game?

So I havnt gone on my wii for awhile till recently (brawl tournaments started up in school) and realized I cant get one free NES game thats 500 points, what should I get newgrounds?

I know, I was just messing with you. Sadly I've never really owned any Nintendo consoles, so I'm not much help when it comes to recommending you a game. I wish I had owned some form of Nintendo console in my youth. I would have loved to have been involved with the Zelda series. I'm not proud to admit that I have never played any of the games from that series.

I suggest Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse - great NES graphics, music, gameplay and its difficult to complete.

No doubt people will be mainly suggesting the slightly overrated Super Mario Bros. 3 though.

Eh, I've concluded that if you have a 360 or PS3, the next console to pick up is the Wii. It would be the only console worth its money by then.

BUT, if you have none of the three current-gen consoles, it would take some serious consideration seeing as how all consoles are within a 100$ from each other in price.

But Nintendo are now the only company making a profit LOLOLOLOL!

If you don't own all the classic games on past systems like the SNES or Nintendo 64, then the Wii's Virtual Console is very much worth considering. The Wii otherwise doesn't have as many good games as the PS3 and 360 do. They're all just first-party games. Brawl, Mario Galaxy, etc.

hmm...i've had many VC games and WiiWare but I haven't really gotten NES games...only Kirbys Dreamland which is really good game. perhaps you should save up for a wiiware like World of Goo

I would recommend original Legend of Zelda. If you have the money however, a great buy is the Kirby game for the N64.

Castlevania 3- Dracula's curse is a personal favorite of mine. cool atmosphere, kick ass music, hard as hell, good stuff.

other than that, i recommend;

- Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!
- The Legend of Zelda

I second this opinion. This is a stellar title for the system and it's definitely worth 500 points. Plus, IGN gave it a 9 on their rating scale, so it's officially good. ;)
