I gasped at that clip. He called his boss some stuff and quit his job, insulted his friends and wife, said that he'd leave her (for only 2 million dollars), that's pretty serious.

I found it a bit unsuited how the presenter said "Goodnight every body" waving and smiling at the camera at the end of the show. As if he didn't even care.

I agree, I watched it and now I have a feeling of horrible pity mixed with anger at those who tricked him. The part where he curses at his boss, I cringed. I think if people were going to do that to someone they love then he's probably better off with out them.

As has been pointed out, the video is obviously questionable. Firstly, AFV would never show a clip with that sort of profanity or intense behavior. Secondly, this is one of those events people often fictionalize for various reasons. I think it's funny since I cannot take it seriously.

Tom from AFV would never act like that. The corporation wouldn't even allow that kind of a video on the show. With these acts, you can obviously tell that it was to videos edited together, and it is also from funny or die.com so it has to be edited.

Oh man that video was great regardless of legitimacy or not. Anyways he was a total ass. I really liked the things that he came up with.

I'm almost positive their all actors. It's hosted on funnyordie.com which is a site where people submit their videos that they've made and people vote if its funny or not. Also the clip was quite clearly edited overtop of AFV. They would not show a man swearing and ruining his life on that show. Have you ever seen it? They don't swear at all, it's almost a children's show =P

It was probably staged.

This. I can't even listen to something where people get tricked like this. I don't know why. If it ever happened to me and ruined my life, I would probably hunt someone down.

It's fake. Very definitely fake.
AFV wouldn't show something like that, for three reasons:
1. It was unusually cruel
2. It was really long
3. They didn't go through the whole voting period of picking the best video before it ended =P

Anybody who has ever watched AFV should know immediately that this was a joke. A joke, might I add, that I don't even think was supposed to be deceiving to the viewer. Just a spoof of sorts.

I'm pretty sure it's a fake, but his wife expression is still fucking horrible. If it's real I'd feel more sorry for her.

The video is as false as me saying I've got a big penis.

1. Hardly any video cameras have "REC" and time and date in the corners of the video, once the video has been filmed.
2. "Funny or Die" logo in the corner.
3. Guy getting his boss on the phone within 10 seconds of winning.
4. Bad acting.
