VSTs and Synths recommendations 2009-10-23 23:38:18

OK so,

I, as an artist, am making a new beginning.
Basically, new style, new name, and (mabey) I start ACTUALLY getting good for my own songs.
I'm not gonna tell you my new name because it will most likely affect your first judgement.

Anywho, I'm looking for more and new VSTs and DEFINITELY new Synths (Stuff like Zeta, Nexus, etc... I forget the technical term for them). The VSTs I have now are:

Vengeance Minimal House
Vengeance Essential House Volume One
Vengeance Essential House Volume Two
Vengeance Essential Effects Volume One
Vengeance Essential Effects Volume Two
Vengeance Electro Essentials
Vengeance Essential Clubsounds Volume One
Vengeance Essential Clubsounds Volume Two
Vengeance Essential Clubsounds Volume Three
Vengeance Ultimate Bass
Vengeance Essential Vocals

I have the following Synth thingys:
Zeta
(Soon) Nexus
Vanguard
and everything that comes with FL9

I am in need of:
A piano preset better than FL Keys
A orchestral and/or symphony preset
AMAZING voice software, I've heard things about something called EastWest, more info on this?
People to colab with or people you recommend me colabing with
The vengeance things im missing and the vengeance things you prefer to use ( if you use them )

I'm NOT asking you to do my work for me, I'm asking for tips and help.
And so, please give me some tips and help ^^

if you haven't heard of it already, check out a synth called synth1. It's free, but sounds good. I'm having a blast with it at the moment.

As far as EastWest, they have amazing quality vsti's. You just need to be willing to shell out the cash for them. They have piano, orchestral and choir products, so they seem to cover a lot of what you need. Head over to sounds online to check them out.

DSK does make VSTs. Some of them are decent, some are not.

DSK Music

Also, if you're looking for a good arp-VST, you should try Super Wave Synths. Many of them are demo products, but i know that Super Wave Pro and Trance Pro are not. They're both very good, with lots of customization, 2 oscillators, etc.

I actually wanted to expand my VST's and soundpacks collection.

Whats are some other trance/techno/electro VST's and sound packs?

Also I need some good title mastering software, effects and such, I currently use Tracks3 and Izotope and the FL core stuff.

Just to be an ass, VST's are those effect things, and VSTi's are those synth-things. I think.

Incorrect. VST's are effects, and VSTi's are instruments.

Look up "Safwan Matni plugins"

Download the following:

Prova
Jazz Baby
Le Piano
General (acoustic piano)

The look up 4front Piano and download that. If you are okay with a short amount of use - get the demo for True Pianos (expires after 30 days).

Then look up mda piano and download that. Those are all the best currently free piano vsts you'll find on the net. Each significantly better than the POS piano that comes with FL Studio.

Don't forget the fact that there are oodles of free soundfonts available that will do better however. I'd try those and a free soundfont player first.

You should check out Lennardigital - Sylenth1 and hold off on Nexus.

Nexus has good sounds, but it's still just a rompler.
Sylenth1 has good sounds and you can make even better ones with ease.

Each to his own but i'd rather have the option to customize my sounds.

Yeye, I know of Nexus 2, but it's STILL a just rompler

Just as The vengeance sample cd's they are easily distinguishable. You'll hear right off the bat that it's nexus. Takes away all the fun imo.
