I laugh at a lot of offensive things, but I couldn't bring myself to laugh at this. Granted her movements are comical when she's not running or walking backwards, it's just so sad that she has to experience it forever.

Personally I think it's amazing that running cures her illness. Maybe if more people had diseases that were cured by running obesity wouldn't be such an issue.

I also happen to think it's convenient that a track and field athlete would still be fine for running after developing such a disorder. Lots of people think she's faking for that reason and I give her the benefit of the doubt but I almost hope she is for the sake of her health. She's a young married woman.

If I were her husband and this were a reality for the two of us I would go running with her as much as possible.

This is truly facinating. While running and going backwards shes fine, but walking forward or being immobile she's slow to speak and spastic in her movements. What a true medical oddity...
