All this and the bullets are too damn big. The controls are awful , click to shoot or full keyboard control
In thes kind of games rotation isnt very good because it makes the game far to easy
The layout is all wrong sorry, its a vertical shooter, so... the play area should at least be 3:4 and the HUD is bulky and ugly , trim it down and remove the BG 'floating' HUDS are usually much better for this stuff. the menu is not clear enough , you dont need to have stars on the menu aswell .
I wouldnt say the code is finished, pretty good , but not finished , some optimizations would be nice because it lags quite a lot when imma firin ma lahzor and moving AND the stars are moving.
Did you generate the stars dynamically ?
Nice effect but it can yank the CPUs dick quite a bit so an animated sequence with a bitmap file should be too bad if done right.But what you have is ok too
