I only recall getting one spam PM for the time I've been on this site. I agree, though. Over 90% of the members of this site have Above Average experience with computers and their workings. I highly doubt many fall for such a feeble tactic.

you neglected to follow the outline for the other topic so I had to delete your post, pleas copy paste the message you received, and more importantly copy/paste the username you received it from into the thread. A screeny makes it more difficult for wade to deal with the account.
Also, make sure it is a legitimate spam account. if it's just some troll being a douchebag to you, you have a block button for a reason, and your post may be deleted. Advertising bots usually follow the same format as in the opening post that you were linked to.
