Nothing will ever be more irrelevant than the negative opinions on this thread. If you were Ben's friend, then you think differently than the masses just waiting to drop self-righteous comments about how he died to make themselves feel better about the way they live their lives. As far as Ben's role in NG...he was a pioneer of some amazing series that people copied endlessly, as well as the holder of the #1 ALL TIME spot with Pimp's Quest before half of you guys knew what Newgrounds was. That's why he's being paid tribute to on the front page. It's really that simple.

That's really sad that he died that young. I shall pay my full tribute to him & his flashes.

I am deeply sorry for this loss not only does this affect the all time lovers of stick slayer but many people who were close to ben let us remember how he affected all of our lives ='[

I...think im going to be sick. He just passed away on my birthday. I have seen the slayer movies and they were pretty awsome. Why did he had to do drugs? It seemed he lived a happy life and such,

i know i wasnt around, well i was but not on here, during the 2000's, i only became a member in 07/08, but i do send my thoughts and love to his family. indeed losing some one is not easy. so to the family i am deeply sorry and i do think that there should be a memorial page i think it would be very kind and wonderful to remember those who have passed. in any case, to Ben's family, i am deeply sorry.

I'm not sure I can say anything that hasn't been said. I've been lucky though to never have anyone really close to me die. But I still have his family in my prayers.

Tis truly sad, i liked his works alot. Talented and inspiring guy.

I think people should never be that disrespectful about people. If you're friend or colleage died you would definatly be sad too. You wouldn't appreciate someone laughing in your face "Your mate is dead!". Ben was probably a good guy, I'm going to pay my respects anyways.
