He was a good animator and contributor to Newgrounds, I'm sure. But, let's be honest, no disrespect intended to the dead, but he died from a heroin overdose. I don't care how good an artist he was, we should not be treating him like a hero.

My condolences to his family. I am sorry for his death, but I still cannot treat him as a hero.

he was a great man and of course i feel sorry that he had to go so early and on such a bad charge but unfortunately he has no one but himself to blame. drug addictions can be helped if your willing to step up. May he find the peace he so obviously sought in those drugs in his afterlife.

It is always sad when an artists of any accomplishment passes....but,from being a NG memeber for a while and unofficial before that (to lazy to make a account) it occurs to me that being in the midpoint of my life it seems that while i shall enjoy many fond memories in the remaining days of my life and the exhiliration such things bring. I have found that most people i grew up finding funny,comical,innnovative, and the people that lived there dreams as they saw fit will pass away far before the end of my days. That being said i would like to state that only as of late had i watched bens animations and to my enjoyment i loved all of them. Like most things on newgrounds i recognize/view them far to late from when it comes out, but after watching the stick slayer series etc, It is shurley a sad day when an immagination such as this is lost. You shall be remembered by myself for certain(for what good that's worth lol) and im shure by countless others.

ps: I wanted to write this sober but really couldnt find the words.....so iv'e inbibed some of grandpas old cough medicine to smoooth the process. My regards to ben and condolenscenses to his family...................Good Journey (in the words of masters of the universe)
